ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONIST ACRYLIC PAINTINGS

This is a collection of original abstract expressionist style paintings by Suzanne Vaughan. Layers of acrylic paint are applied to the canvas in free gestural marks with palette knives and other tools to create a dynamic textured surface. With multiple applications each layer interacts with the previous building a complex texture suggestive of natural organic elements.

Spring Field is an original acrylic painting on canvas by Suzanne Vaughan. An abstract expressionist style painting with thick layers of paint it captures the fresh energy and vitality of a lush green field in Spring time.

Painted on a piece of 68” x 68” canvas. Painting size 60”wide x 60”high. Requires framing. The extra 4” around the painting allows for many framing options such as a floater frame or stretching onto a gallery wrap frame. When stretched onto a gallery wrap frame the painting extends around the sides.
