Rich Reds is an original acrylic painting on canvas by Suzanne Vaughan. An abstract expressionist style painting with smooth flowing transitions of paint in shades of rich vibrant reds capturing the warmth, vitality and dynamic energy of nature.

Layers of paint are applied to the canvas in free gestural marks with palette knives and other tools to create a dynamic textured surface. With multiple applications each layer interacts with the previous building a complex texture suggestive of natural organic elements.

Painted on a piece of 48” x 48” canvas. Painting size 40” x 40”. Requires framing. The extra 4” around the painting allows for many framing options such as a floater frame or stretching onto a gallery wrap frame.
